Roadworks - Cromwell Lane and Westwood Heath

High voltage underground power cables and telecommunications ducts are being laid between the University and the sub-station in Hodgett's Lane.

Cromwell Lane, junction Westwood Heath Road (weekends 1 – 2 February, and 8 – 9 February)

Temporary signals will be in place for weekend (off-peak) use for continuation of work by Western Power Distribution. This was recently suspended to avoid conflict with emergency gas work at nearby Charter Ave/Cromwell Lane junction – now cleared.

Traffic management including temporary traffic signals have been in place in Cromwell Lane from 28 January. These will be manually controlled at peak times to reduce disruption, but delays are possible whilst works are in progress.
