Public Meeting Monday, February 24th

The HS2 Hybrid Bill and Environmental Statement were published at the end of last year and confirm the destructive effects of the proposed line on our village — things are even worse than expected.
We are running out of time to change things, but HS2 is not a done deal. Mitigation and compensation can be irnproved and the whole project can be stopped (and opinions grow that it wiIl be stopped) - but this will not happen without many people acting together.
This meeting will begin with short presentations followed by general discussion, aiming to update residents on where we are and what the next steps will be:
- ES Consultation
- Petitioning
- Compensation
- Mitigation (including Burton Green tunnel)
Do not leave it to the few to move Burton Green forward. Let us all protect our community. We need your support!
