Warwickshire County Council has released a bulletin about HS2 progress, which includes some brief projected timescale details, as follows.
Spring 2017 – Site investigation work
2017 – Enabling works (surveys, compound building and road strengthening)
2018 – 2021 – Main construction works and peak traffic pressures
2021 – 2026 – Reduced intensity construction period
2026 – HS2 Phase One opens
We are awaiting details as to date of commencement of bridge removals on the Greenway which is expected to be sometime in 2018 before the construction commences.
