During the afternoon of Friday October 4th it is planned to celebrate the 150th anniversary of our primary school. Plans are still being made but it is hoped to open the school to residents and anyone with an interest in Burton Green School. There will be an opportunity to tour the school to see the developments that have taken place in recent years.
There will also be a display of photos over the years. If you have any photos depicting the school or activities that have taken place there in the past and you are willing to share them, please contact janetkhickinbottom@gmail.com. Digital copies can be attached to an email or take a photo of the image and send that in the same way. Please indicate an approximate date the photo was taken, if possible. If you want us to receive hard copy photos, let us know at the same email address and we will arrange to collect them.
Further details will be made available later in the summer and we look forward to seeing residents, former pupils of the school and their parents and anyone else who shares our love of Burton Green School.
